You provide the manpower, we provide the rest! We even take care of the mess!

Everything you need to do the job is included at BOTH locations: Skout’s Honor All Natural Shampoo + Conditioner (and a washcloth, of course!), a variety of brushes and combs, a shammy and towel, a high-velocity blow dryer and ear cleaner.

Important Things to Know

Due to COVID, our Self-Serve Dog Wash Stations are now BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. The appointment length is 45 minutes. Masks must be worn into the store but may be removed while washing dog(s).

There are some important things you should know before bringing your pooch in for a bath. Please read the FAQ’s and general information below, but feel free to give us a ring if we don’t answer your question here.

How late can I come to the self wash?

The last dog must be in the tub no later than 45 minutes before the store closes, NO EXCEPTIONS, unless you’re Chuck Norris, because we’re not about to tell Chuck Norris no.

My dog is cool in the tub by himself, right?

NO! DO NOT EVER LEAVE YOUR PETS UNATTENDED in our Self Serve Dog Wash Stations. This is a safety issue.

How do I make an appointment for the self-serve?

Self-Serve Dog Wash Stations are now by appointment only. You can make an appointment here.

How long are the appointments?

Each appointment is for 45 minutes maximum, ending exactly on the hour. You can wash and dry as many dogs as you are able to in 45 minutes for the following prices.

Arriving late will cut into your 45 minute time block, you must still be out of the tub on the hour, and you will still be charged the full amount.

Is there anything I can use to trim my dogs fur?

We do not provide any cutting tools or potentially injurious tools in the self serve. This includes scissors, nail trimmers, Dremel tools, etc. And no, we won’t allow you to bring your own, so don’t ask!

Can I bring my dogs own hair dryer?

There is no access to outlets in the self serve dog wash. So no personal hair dryers, clippers, trimmers, or anything else that requires an electrical outlet! Water and electricity just don’t mix well.

Can I bring my child with me?

There is a maximum of two persons allowed per reserved tub. If one of these is a child, they must remain with the parent at all times.

Where do you get the supplied grooming tools?

We’re glad you love our preferred brush and comb selection! All of the awesome supplies you use during your dog wash are available for sale in the store.

I've never washed my dog before!

No worries! If you need help — JUST ASK, we’re REALLY happy to help!

Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment?

24 hour or more notice is appreciated for canceling or rescheduling, repeated cancellation may result in refusal of service.

Our Northside Location Self Serve Dog Wash offers 5 tubs in 3 different sizes. Built with Professional quality steel and rubber mats for traction, these awesome tubs will safely hold any size dog — from the tiniest Chihuahua to the biggest Great Dane. No more back strain and knee pain from washing the dog in your bathroom’s “human” tub! Tie-downs are included, with the dog facing right or left, so you don’t have to worry about holding him in place, and you can easily wash both sides of the dog. Our Downtown Location Self Serve Dog Wash offers 2 tubs with available risers for easy access to accommodate dogs of all sizes. These tubs also feature tie-downs that make bathing both sides of your pooch a breeze!
